# node:path

> How Elide supports Node's `path` module: `node:path`, `node:path/posix` and `node:path/win32` match Node on every host, including `matchesGlob`.

`node:path`, `node:path/posix`, and `node:path/win32` match [Node's `path`](https://nodejs.org/api/path.html) on every
host, including `matchesGlob`.

## Example

```js
// path.mjs
import path from "node:path";
console.log(path.join("/srv", "app", "../static", "index.html"));
console.log(JSON.stringify(path.parse("/srv/static/index.html")));
console.log(path.relative("/srv/app", "/srv/static"));
console.log(path.win32.join("C:\\srv", "app"));
console.log(path.matchesGlob("src/lib/main.ts", "src/**/*.ts"));
```

`elide run path.mjs` prints:

```text
/srv/static/index.html
{"root":"/","dir":"/srv/static","base":"index.html","ext":".html","name":"index"}
../static
C:\srv\app
true
```
