Manifest target declarations

These values describe what the manifest schema accepts, not a language-conformance guarantee. The selected compiler determines which targets it can compile. The ECMAScript setting is a schema declaration; it does not establish the running engine’s enabled edition. See Compatibility for measured API support.

SettingAccepted values
javascript.ecma2015–2025, stable, latest; default: stable
kotlin.compilerOptions.languageVersion / apiVersionlatest, stable, auto, 1.9, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5. Other strings are also accepted by the schema.
kotlin.compilerOptions.jvmTarget8–29, 1.8, 1.9, latest, stable, auto
